Do You Want a Recession Proof Job? Health Care Jobs Are on the Upswing!

A job in the Health Care sector is one of the safest areas of employment in this struggling economy. Health Care jobs will never go away and when the economy is bad, people tend to feel less healthy as our body is controlled in part by our emotional well being.

You may be thinking that you need a boatload of training and education to get a job in the medical field but that is not always the case. Training for a decent position in the health care industry can be as short as 6 weeks and the schools that offer that training generally have ways to get you tuition help as well as job placement.

More good news about health care industry employment is that the available openings are many more than those that are trained so you can pretty much expect to finish school one day and start your new career the very next.

In fact, there are two hundred thousand available nursing jobs unfilled right now between nursing homes and hospitals. Imagine if you were already trained as a nurse… you could almost write your own ticket.

Another much needed area is that of the CNA. A CNA is a Certified Nursing Assistant and essentially works under the watchful eye of nurse performing some of the necessary basic daily tasks such as grooming and cleaning patients. The training to become a CNA is a combination of classroom and hands on training and in as little as six weeks you could be on your way to a new career in a stable and growing industry.
